Seattle, Victoria and Vancouver

I just got back from my family vacation to Seattle, Washinton and Victoria and Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It was pretty much amazing. If you are an aspiring musician, those are the places to go. There were street performers EVERYWHERE!!!!

Some points of intrest on the trip:

I went to the first Starbucks ever made and I got a t-shirt.

I went whale watching in the ocean...incredible...but no whales to be seen :(

I saw a version of Shakespear's "A Midsummer Night's Dream". It was crazy. They modernized the costumes a lot. It was pretty wonderful, except they made it a little nasty. A lot less nasty then they could have, but still it was embarassing. But it was hillarious.

Canadian boys are hot. :) I'm going to marry one. haha. just kidding. but seriously. They are really cute.

Symphony Splash. I went to a Victoria Symphony concert with the symphony floating on a barge in the ocean. It was fun.

Butchart Gardens. Beautiful. They were amazing. I'll never forget it . The best garden I've ever seen. Wow.

Stanley Park. A drive through or walk through park with an incredible view. You can stop and look if you want.

Vancouver Aquarium...pretty cool, but I heard Sea World is better.

Lots of Shopping. That's always fun.

The food was delicious. We had seafood a lot. I enjoy seafood immensely.

Whistle Mountaineer. A 3 hour train ride up Whistle Mountain. Wow. Incredible. Breath-taking. My first train ride.

The Flight. It was the first time I remember flying. I flew once when I was like 4 but I barely remeber it. The flight up there was great and most of the flight back was great too. The flight after we changed planes in Salt Lake City, Utah...not so great. These two little Chinese kids in front of us screamed almost the whole time. Their mother snag Frere Jaques(hopefully you understand the title of teh song I'm trying to get across)in Chinese to them to try to calm them down to some avail. And plus, that whole no liquids in your carry-on thing was kind of a pain, but hey, I'm glad for the security. :)

All-in-all my vacation was very relaxing and incredible. I was stinking amazing. Ahhhh. It was cool there. It's really hot here but, hey, I love Texas. :)

And, yes, TAFA starts Monday! I'm excited. woohoo!
